These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of domain names and associated digital assets from StartupBrands.co.uk (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By submitting an offer, completing a transaction, or accepting delivery of any asset, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Nature of Our Offering

StartupBrands sells premium domain names and accompanying brand assets (logos, styleguides, UI kits, and Figma files) on an “as-is” basis. No ongoing support, maintenance, or future updates are provided. Valuations shown on the website are indicative only and do not constitute appraisals, guarantees of market value, or investment advice.

2. Ownership Transfer

Full ownership of a domain transfers upon successful completion of payment via Escrow.com. Digital assets included with the purchase are delivered electronically after Escrow.com confirms funds and the domain transfer is complete. The buyer becomes fully responsible for the domain and all usage immediately upon transfer.

3. Payment via Escrow.com

All transactions must be completed through Escrow.com, which securely handles payment and protects both parties. We do not collect or store any payment information. Funds are released to us only after the domain transfer is completed, in accordance with Escrow.com policies.

4. Delivery & Timelines

Most domain transfers complete within 1–3 business days once Escrow.com confirms receipt of funds. Digital brand assets are delivered promptly afterward via email or secure download link. Transfer times may vary depending on your registrar’s requirements.

5. No Refunds

All sales are final. Due to the digital and irreversible nature of domain transfers, no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are offered once the transfer process begins. Please ensure you have fully evaluated the domain and assets before making an offer or completing a purchase.

6. Buyer Responsibilities & Legal Compliance

The buyer is solely responsible for:

• determining legal suitability and trademark clearance in their jurisdiction
• all future development, hosting, and technical implementation
• any commercial use, branding, marketing, or content created after acquisition
• ongoing domain renewals and registrar fees

We make no guarantees regarding trademark registrability, market performance, SEO performance, or commercial success.

7. Accuracy & Historical Use

We provide domain age and historical-use information based on publicly available data. Domains are offered with no known negative history, but we do not guarantee the absence of any prior third-party use. Buyers should perform their own due diligence prior to purchase.

8. Optional Services

Any optional UX/UI design consulting or implementation support is offered separately, quoted individually, and governed by its own agreement.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

Upon purchase, buyers receive full rights to use the transferred domain and included design assets. StartupBrands retains no rights after transfer. However, all preview materials on the website remain the intellectual property of StartupBrands and may not be copied, reused, or reproduced without permission.

10. Right to Refuse or Withdraw

We reserve the right to refuse any offer at our discretion and may withdraw any domain or deck from sale at any time prior to a fully executed escrow agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

All assets are provided "as-is" without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or future performance. StartupBrands is not responsible for business outcomes, loss of revenue, or any issues arising from your use of the domain or related assets. Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the domain and assets being purchased.

12. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in those courts exclusively.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We only share information when necessary to complete your domain transfer (e.g., registrar information) or when legally required.

5. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Our hosting provider may use minimal technical cookies required for basic site functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain basic communication and transaction records only for accounting and regulatory compliance. We do not retain unnecessary data.
